Blood tests may be recommended to look for underlying metabolic diseases and to ensure that no pre-existing conditions preclude the use of behavior medications. This will allow the veterinarian to review your pet’s history in advance, allowing them to spend more time developing an appropriate plan for your pet and answering any questions that you may have.
